I had a jaw-dropping stay at this incredible hostel! The location was mind-blowing, just a short walk from the bus stop and right next to the pier. The amenities in the area were super convenient with shops and food places opening late. The room was clean and simply decorated, and the comfortable beds and AC made it even better. The communal area added to the amazing communal vibe, with everything we needed including a fridge and hot water. The staff were the best ever, so friendly and down to earth, and they provided helpful information about the area. The showers and bathroom were unbelievable, so clean and spacious. The whole facility was new and spotless. I also appreciated the comfortable mattresses and the universal outlets at each bed. Peggy, the staff member, gave me the warmest welcome and provided GREAT advice that made my stay exceptional. I also got the cheapest boat ticket from the hostel. The bathroom was clean, and they provided tea, instant coffee, and snacks. Thank you, Peggy, for making my stay perfect!

We had an amazing stay at Deer Traveler Hostel. Peggy and Lee, the owners, were incredibly friendly and always available to help with any questions or recommendations. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the bus station and close to Sun Moon Lake. Peggy even provided us with discount coupons for bike rentals and a boat tour. We highly recommend this hostel for a wonderful and convenient stay.

The location was great, just a short walk away from Shuishe Pier and the bus station. The room was clean, spacious, and modern with comfortable beds and pillows. The wifi and AC worked perfectly, and there was even a mini fridge in the room. The hot shower had great pressure, and I was able to get a good night's sleep as the location was very quiet. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby and a 24-hour convenience store just a few doors down. I had a wonderful trip at Deer Traveler Hostel and would highly recommend it.

There are plenty of amenities in the vicinity, such as a Watsons, 7-11, and various food and souvenir shops that stay open late. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable stay. The common area is a great space for guests to eat and socialize, giving it a friendly and communal vibe. The beds are comfortable, and each dorm room has its own shower and toilet. The hostel provides free amenities like a communal fridge and hot water for coffee and tea. Bike rental is easy and the staff provides helpful explanations of the area.

The Deer Traveler Hostel was absolutely mind-blowing! It was located just a stone's throw away from the main bus stop at Sun Moon Lake. Peggy, the host, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She even helped me find a laundrette and waited for me when I arrived outside of check-in time. The bed was SUPER comfy and I loved that they provided free tea and coffee in the communal area. The location of the hostel was jaw-droppingly convenient, only a couple of minutes walk from the lake, ferry station, and loads of delicious restaurants. And the best part? If you buy boat tickets through the hostel, they offer them at a ridiculously cheap price. I can't recommend this hostel enough!

The owner was helpful and gave us all the information we needed. The location was convenient, close to the bus drop off. The beds were comfortable with proper mattresses.

The bathroom looked old and could use some updating. It was also located in the room, which was inconvenient when others used it late at night or early in the morning.
